Responsibilities
The Gig Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures to support patient diagnosis and treatment. Key responsibilities include:
- Operating imaging equipment safely and efficiently
- Ensuring patient safety during imaging procedures
- Maintaining high-quality imaging standards
- Accurately documenting procedures and findings
- Communicating effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
- Submitting equipment and technology service requests
- Providing assistance with clinical rotations, as required
Requirements
To succeed in this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Proficiency in operating imaging equipment
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in MRI, Radiologic Technologist, or CT imaging
- State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice
- ARRT (MR) certification for MRI Technologist, ARRT-R certification for Radiologic Technologist, and ARRT (CT) certification for CT Technologist
- BLS certification

- Education: Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program with completion of required clinical hours, or Bachelors Degree in Radiology (alternative)
- Experience: 1 year of experience in MRI imaging

- Radiologic Technologist - GIG
- Education: High school graduate or equivalent, Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours
- Experience: 1+ years of relevant experience

- Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice
- CT Technologist - GIG
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program and completed required clinical hours
- Experience: 1 year of relevant experience

- Certification/Registration: ARRT (CT), BLS
- MRI Technologist: $42.00/Hr
- Radiologic Technologist: $35.00/Hr
- CT Technologist: $40.00/Hr
