About the role
This position is responsible for pick up and delivery of customer vehicles and reports to the Operations Manager or designated manager as part of the Transportation/Logistics team.
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently pick up and deliver customer vehicles
- Load and unload customer vehicles
- Prioritize safe driving and maintain a clean driving record in accordance with Carvana’s Commercial Motor Vehicle Driver Qualification Policy
- Complete condition reports and complete paperwork related to the pick up and delivery of the vehicle
- Communicate with customers to verify vehicle information and condition of vehicles
- Maintain good flow of communication with all team members and practice good teamwork
- Inspect the wrecker or rollback to ensure the vehicle maintains good maintenance and safe driving conditions
Qualifications
- High School or GED required
- Must have a valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record for the past 3 years
- Must be able to drive vehicles with either standard or automatic transmissions
- Effective customer relations, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screen and a background check
- Previous DOT driving experience preferred
- Must be 18 years of age

- Physical Working Conditions
- This position is subject to both inside and outside environmental working conditions, including temperature changes, outside weather conditions, slightly elevated ambient noise levels, and minor atmospheric conditions affecting skin or respiratory systems, such as fumes, odors and dusts associated with internal and external service station/convenience food and petroleum dispensing operations.
