DOT Driver / Maintenance Mechanic

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform mechanical/electronic repairs on small engines and specialized flooring equipment (scrubbers, grinders, burnisher, etc.)
• Operate medium-duty trucks and 16 ft flatbeds to transport equipment and material; tow trailers as needed.
• Aid in receiving, purchasing, warehousing, and distributing materials. Load and unload trucks manually and via powered industrial equipment.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company policies; accurately document work orders and results.

Candidate Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of medium-duty truck driving experience and prior experience with small engine/electrical systems.
• Valid Class C Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and a pre-employment drug screen.
• Willingness to work Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays as needed.

• Strong troubleshooting abilities for electronic repairs.
