WOUND CARE - CERTIFIED NURSE ASSISTANT
Mountain View Hospital is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant to provide quality wound care to clinic patients within their scope of practice, ensuring both physical and psychosocial needs are met.

Responsibilities
- Implement and evaluate quality patient care consistent with clinic policies and procedures.
- Assist in treating wounds of various categories (venous, arterial, diabetic, burns, surgical, neuropathic, traumatic, bacterial, viral, and fungal) as directed by the Nurse or Wound Specialist.
- Assess and reassess patient pain, utilizing appropriate pain management techniques.
- Make wound care decisions within scope of practice, including licensure and hospital policy guidelines.
- Utilize effective communication skills with physicians, practitioners, patients, families, and staff to resolve patient care problems and promote excellent customer relations.
- Uphold the mission, vision, and guiding principles of Mountain View Hospital and the Advance Care and Hyperbaric Center.
- Comply with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
Requirements
- Current license or certification as a CNA, Paramedic, or EMT.
- BLS certification and renewal as required.
- Ability to utilize computer software for department operations.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment, attention to detail, and maintain concentration for extended periods.
- Capability to handle difficult client situations, emergencies, and conflicts calmly and professionally.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
Preferred but not required: prior experience in wound care or related fields.
