About the Role

Provide expert nursing care in inpatient and outpatient settings, serving as a resource for complex wound and ostomy cases. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educate patients and families, support staff development, and demonstrate leadership in clinical decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Implement policies and participate in standards development
• Evaluate staff learning needs and support orientation processes
• Adhere to hospital policies
• Provide clinical expertise in wound and ostomy care
• Assess and treat patients across all ages

Requirements

• Nursing degree from an accredited school
• Illinois licensure
• Wound Care Certification
• Minimum of four years in medical/surgical nursing (preferably critical care)
• Current CPR certification
