Registered Nurse - Wound Care Certified

Responsibilities

• Serve as an expert resource for complex wound, ostomy, and high-tech procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan and deliver patient-centered care, involving families and educating patients.
• Demonstrate leadership by supporting clinical decision-making and mentoring staff and preceptors.
• Assess, treat, and care for patients across all age groups, ensuring developmental appropriateness.
• Interpret policies, participate in establishing clinical standards, and support staff training and development.
• Adhere to hospital standards and procedures.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an approved Nursing School; Bachelor’s degree required.
• Licensure to practice nursing in Illinois.
• Wound Care Certification and minimum four years of clinical experience, preferably in critical care.
• Current CPR certification.
