About the role
This position is located in Madison, WI and is an on-site, 6-month assignment with the possibility of extension based upon performance and budget. The schedule is Monday - Friday, standard hours, and the pay is $29 - $32/hr to start.
Responsibilities
The position implements, supports, and maintains PC and end-user device computing technologies for local area network/wide area network (LAN/WAN), mobile, and remote connectivity, including:
- Network Support/Troubleshooting (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, LDAP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, and routers)
- Microsoft Windows operating systems and software administration and troubleshooting support
- Software Imaging and Profile Migrations
- Hardware and peripheral support
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have an Associate Degree in a STEM field (preferred) or technical certifications, and at least 2 years of experience in IT Support, including:
- Network Support/Troubleshooting (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, LDAP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, and routers)
- Microsoft Windows operating systems and software administration and troubleshooting support
- Software Imaging and Profile Migrations
- Hardware and peripheral support experience
- Ticketing system experience (preferred)
- Strong communication skills
