Essential Functions
- Serves as a leader and manager, overseeing staffing, training, scheduling, coaching, motivating, and developing associates.
- Manages daily production tasks, such as reviewing billing staff work for accuracy, coordinating with departments, and tracking billing unit activities.
- Communicates with employer clients and other associates, providing guidance, ensuring compliance, investigating issues, and assisting with mailings and communications.
Experience and Skill Requirements
- Two to four years of experience in insurance or related field.
- Three years of supervisory experience.
- Accounting experience required.
- Strong team management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Professional communication skills, both oral and written.
- Decision-making abilities.
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office, especially MS Excel.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of group insurance is beneficial.
- Talent in areas such as purpose, focus, work ethic, competition, persuasion, relationship extension, team, positivity, stimulator, caring, arranger, and learner.
Education and Certification Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required.
Physical and Work Schedule Requirements
- May require more than 40 hours a week to complete job functions.
- Follows daily work schedules for appropriate coverage.
- Hybrid position based in Lincoln, NE, requiring three days per week onsite and a flexible remote schedule with two days.
