Workshop Technician

Your role

  • Review HS2 documentation on a daily basis.
  • Uses the correct PPE and follows required BAM processes and procedures.
  • Makes sure to meet daily production targets regarding quality, volume, and efficiency.
  • Collaborates with other zone members and the Zone Leader to establish priorities, ensuring customer deadlines are met.
  • Inspects parts, assemblies, and systems following inspection criteria defined in Work Instructions, drawings, schematics, or other technical data.
  • Daily checks calibrated tooling before use.
  • Performs leak tests and assists in troubleshooting leak test failures.
  • Adheres to all company policies and procedures, completes assigned tasks promptly, and reports problems to management.
  • Maintains a clean working area in accordance with good housekeeping practices and 6S standards.
  • Maintains established quality and time standards, provides input for continuous improvement, and completes paperwork accurately.
  • Raises issues and observations at SIM2 meetings and follows the Kanban system.

About the role

This position requires a High School education, preferably in a mechanical or technical field, with a minimum of 1 year’s experience in manufacturing or a similar field. Good PC literacy, especially experience with SAP, is preferred. Knowledge of English is advantageous, as is a willingness to work in shifts and maintain detailed orientation.

Qualifications
