About the role

Supervise, direct, and coordinate employees, supplies and equipment. Ensure the cleaning and maintenance of assigned properties meet contractual specifications. Manage tasks, train staff, maintain equipment, and order supplies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct employees
• Maintain all oversight of porters and matrons
• Assign tasks based on job requirements or special assignments
• Perform quality control to meet Harvard and customer standards
• Train new and existing staff on proper cleaning techniques
• Ensure safety equipment and techniques are utilized and adhered to
• Order and issue supplies and equipment
• Check work tickets
• Manage general cleaning

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the cleaning/janitorial field
• Previous supervisory experience preferred
• Valid state driver’s license

Qualifications
