Working Janitorial Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a Working Janitorial Supervisor to manage an assigned shift or site within a manufacturing facility. This role involves overseeing daily workflow, scheduling assignments, and ensuring a safe and secure environment for staff and visitors.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire, and train janitorial staff
• Oversee the daily workflow and schedule assignments of cleaners
• Take proactive steps to provide a safe and secure working environment for staff and visitors
• Conduct regular walk-throughs and cleaning inspections
• Fill in when needed and perform other related duties
• Maintain effective lines of communication with the client and facility personnel to meet their needs
• Demonstrate and promote company culture, values, and management philosophy

Requirements

• 2-5 years of supervisory experience in the janitorial field
• Experience managing janitorial operations
• Proven experience motivating and training staff
• Cleaning or housekeeping experience
• Manufacturing supervision background preferred
