Working Janitorial Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the daily activities of the janitorial team
• Perform cleaning duties alongside the team
• Ensure all assigned areas meet company quality and safety standards
• Train and mentor employees on proper cleaning procedures and equipment use
• Operate and maintain commercial cleaning equipment
• Monitor inventory and report supply needs
• Communicate effectively with management regarding daily operations
• Manage Union staff or have experience with Union staff
• Supervisor will have their own cleaning responsibility (a floor or two)

Requirements

• Previous supervisory experience in janitorial or custodial services preferred
• Experience operating commercial cleaning machines/equipment is required
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Must be reliable and detail-oriented
• Must successfully pass a background check
• Must successfully pass a drug screen
• 90-day probationary period
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

Pay

$20.00–$23.00 per hour (based on experience)
