Working Foreman/Underground Wet Utilities

East County subcontractor is seeking a working foreman for a long-term position. LOCAL CANDIDATES PREFERRED.

About the role

The ideal candidate is dependable, ethical, detail-oriented, and safety-focused, with a positive attitude and the ability to lead, motivate, and train crews. This role also requires strong self-management and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of plans and specifications
• Maintain safety standards
• Conduct weekly safety meetings
• Accurately complete weekly timecards, daily reports, etc.
• Scheduling and 3-week look ahead
• Coordination with sub-tiers/vendors

Requirements

• Knowledge of prevailing wage
• Minimum of 10 years' experience as a foreman/supervisor in underground wet utilities in public/private works
• Experience with water, sewer, storm drain, etc. (Pipeline experience a MUST!)
• Managed a crew of 5+ employees
• Excellent communication skills
• Clean DMV and valid California driver’s license
• Pre-employment drug screen required
