Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide teaching assistance under the direction of lead instructors in the EMT program and classes
- Conduct training in a flexible schedule and non-traditional format
- May teach theory and/or hands-on skills
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed during hands-on skill training
- Control and monitor complex equipment and supplies during hands-on skill training
- Assess and evaluate student skills and knowledge
- Document performance and progress of students
- Recommend and implement actions to assist students to accomplish goals
- Maintain complete and accurate attendance and training records
- Participate in marketing the program and recruiting students
- Remain current with emerging trends in assigned area
Job Requirements/Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Current licenses, certifications required to practice in the discipline field.
- NREMT, State Certification and BLS Provider level CPR card
