About the role
We are seeking a candidate for a timekeeping analyst role. This position involves translating complex timekeeping requirements for system configuration. The ideal individual will be a self-starter, capable of operating with minimal onboarding, and ready to make an immediate impact. The role requires either deep expertise in WorkForce Software or extensive knowledge of UAW Timekeeping Policy.
Responsibilities
- Translate union agreements, labor laws, and complex work rules into scalable system logic and configurations.
- Configure and support Time & Attendance, Scheduling, and Absence Management modules within the WFM platform.
- Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines and system integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and batch data processes.
- Manage platform governance, including security roles, upgrades, and overall environment stability.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of workforce data across integrated enterprise systems.
- Develop SQL-based reporting, dashboards, and advanced data analysis to support business and operational needs.
- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience as a WorkForce Software expert or an analyst with comprehensive knowledge of UAW Timekeeping Policy.
- Experience with UAW Hourly Timekeeping is required if the candidate does not have prior experience with this employer's specific hourly employee timekeeping policies.
- Hands-on experience configuring enterprise WFM platforms supporting 10,000+ employees.
- Experience supporting HR/Payroll integrations and enterprise system ecosystems.
- Exposure to union work rules and manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with U.S. and Canadian labor regulations (e.g., FLSA, provincial laws).
Skills
- Advanced SQL and data engineering capabilities, including ETL design and development.
- Strong experience with API integrations (REST, SOAP, XML, flat file processing).
- Experience with enterprise SaaS platforms.
- Experience working in Agile environments using tools such as Jira or similar.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with WorkForce Software (WFS) Configuration.
- Knowledge of this employer's hourly employee timekeeping policies.
- Experience with alternative WFM platforms such as UKG/Kronos, Dayforce, or SAP SuccessFactors.
- Experience with cloud data platforms like GCP, BigQuery, or similar technologies.
- Automotive or industrial manufacturing industry experience.
