Responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and publish employee schedules based on forecasted demand and labor budgets
- Maintain scheduling data within workforce management systems
- Monitor attendance patterns and adjust schedules to ensure proper operational coverage
- Optimize labor usage while maintaining service and performance standards
- Partner with department leaders to understand staffing needs and operational priorities
- Auxiliary employees with availability updates, time-off requests, and scheduling questions
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies
- Prepare reports on labor utilization, overtime trends, and coverage gaps
- Identify process improvements to enhance scheduling accuracy and efficiency
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, filters, lookups)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data
