Eckerd Connects provides Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) services through contracts with the U.S. Department of Labor and local workforce boards, partnerships, and strategies to provide and create a career pathway for youth, adults, and dislocated workers. Training services include occupational skills training, customized training, on-the-job training, incumbent worker training, and transitional employment opportunities. We provide youth with development, academic instruction, career & technical education, and access to the 14 WIOA Youth Elements. We establish and develop relationships and networks with large and small employers and their intermediaries as well as develop, convene, or implement industry or sector partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Screen and field calls; manage calendars; arrange for meeting and programmatic events.
  • Prepare reports, filing, and data entry; receive and direct visitors; perform word processing; create spreadsheets and presentations.
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support including mailing, scanning, faxing, and copying.
  • Reserve space, order refreshments, and prepare presentation materials for meetings and workshops as needed.
  • Schedule participant intake, orientation, and workshops.
  • Establish and maintain monthly and quarterly reports for both internal and external customers as well as community partners to ensure the timely and accurate flow of information.
  • Develop and maintain a filing system; ensure files are organized, accurate, up-to-date, and clearly marked for easy access.
  • Ensure quality control by verifying all documentation is scanned and accurate in the database and/or State Reporting System.
  • Conduct random file audits to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local requirements.
  • Conduct follow-up services by contacting participants and documenting current status on a monthly basis.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of hands-on administrative support experience.
  • Must have an appropriate and valid state driver’s license and be able to meet requirements for Eckerd’s Auto Insurance and be able to drive for business purposes.
  • Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.

Pay

Hourly Rate: $20.00
