Workforce Manager
Job Summary
The Workforce Manager is responsible for developing and managing staffing schedules and workforce forecasts across multiple departments in a seasonal business. This role leverages NICE Workforce Management tools to analyze performance metrics, including Service Level (SLA), Average Handle Time (AHT), and Adherence, providing managers with actionable insights to optimize staffing and operational performance. The Workforce Manager also oversees attendance management, administers the employee call-out process, monitors schedule adherence, and partners with department leaders to ensure staffing levels align with business demand while maintaining service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement workforce planning strategies to meet the company’s current and future staffing needs.
Analyze workforce data and trends to forecast staffing requirements.
Partner with Leadership, Recruiting, and Finance to maintain headcount standards.
Prepare and present workforce reports and recommendations to senior management.
Create and manage employee schedules to ensure optimal coverage and productivity.
Use workforce management software to track and analyze employee schedules, attendance, and performance.
Identify opportunities for improving scheduling efficiency and reducing labor costs.
Develop and implement strategies to improve employee productivity and engagement.
Analyze data to spot discrepancies in efficiency by Department.
Maintain relationships with Leadership and Teams.
Attend NICE Meetings with TAM.
Work with department managers to address performance issues and implement corrective actions.
Provide training and support to managers and employees on workforce management practices.
Manage and optimize workforce management systems and tools.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in workforce management technology.
Evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to enhance workforce management capabilities.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in workforce planning, scheduling, or related roles. Experience in a managerial role is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in workforce management software and tools.
Experience with NICE CXOne.
Proficient Spreadsheet skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
