About the role
This position is responsible for the administrative payroll tasks required to complete all weekly payroll activities for 600+ Customer Connection Center team members. This coordinator tracks, analyzes, and recommends actions based on attendance trends. She/he provides attendance guidelines to team members and answers questions regarding time off policies. She/he audits time punches, reconciles payroll data and ensures PTO is properly tracked and entered in the system.
Responsibilities
- Track attendance performance for all non-exempt department team members and provide recommended actions to leadership based on observed trends.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for supervisors and managers on attendance related issues.
- Conduct regular audits to proactively identify, resolve, or prevent attendance-related issues.
- Record actions taken and provide follow-up reporting to department leaders.
- Communicate with managers and supervisors regarding attendance policies, the investigative process, and the overall business impact of unplanned labor loss.
- Positively impact labor loss and adherence to attendance policy through consistent communication of employee expectations and accountability.
- Reconcile all payroll discrepancies as they relate to in/out punches, lunch breaks, PTO, etc.
- Follow up with team members and Supervisors as needed throughout the payroll process to ensure a smooth payroll close by the established deadlines.
- Work closely with the payroll department to clarify any payroll concerns for the department.
- Regularly communicate timeclock entry discrepancy and issues.
- Create reporting related to team member payroll discrepancies and concerns.
- Provide weekly and monthly reporting as well as impact to payroll, production, and revenue.
- Create modern tracking database tools that alert supervisors and send alerts regarding payroll discrepancies, attendance irregularities or negative trends occurring within their teams.
- Performs additional duties and projects as assigned.
- Consistent regular scheduled attendance is considered an essential function of this job.
Qualifications
- Education Required: High School diploma required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Required or Acceptable Job-Related Experience: Payroll, scheduling, or other manual performance tracking experience preferred
- Years of Job-Related Experience Required: 2+ years of payroll or performance management tracking
- Technical/Other Skills Required: Excel, Word, Outlook
Pay
The salary range for this opportunity is $45,000 - $60,000. Base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job related knowledge, skills and experience, among other factors.
