Responsibilities
- Carry out weekly payroll processing and reporting.
- Handle new hire processes, including importing and manually entering W-4 forms and direct deposit information.
- Manage time and attendance system, ensuring proper coding of timecards and timely submission for weekly payroll (follow up with leaders as needed).
- Import and manually enter timecards, make payroll adjustments as necessary.
- Maintain effective communication, promptly addressing employee, management, and branch leader inquiries regarding payroll matters.
- Assist with troubleshooting payroll issues, such as missing payments, retro pay, pay rate changes, etc.
- Process and input reimbursement-related payments for expense reports, mileage, etc.
- Run and conduct weekly audit reports to ensure the highest level of data integrity.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes to contribute to the full employee life cycle.
- Collaborate with team members to identify and implement process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (degree in HR or Business-related field preferred but not required).
- Minimum two (2) years of payroll processing experience.
- Garnishment processing experience.
- A passion for data integrity, accuracy, and strong attention to detail.
- The ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet critical deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A detail-driven thinker who takes ownership of end-to-end processes.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in Home Health Payroll a plus.
