About the role

This is not a purely managerial position. We are looking for someone who wants to remain deeply engaged in the work and who takes pride in carrying projects thoughtfully from design through construction.

Responsibilities

• Develop thoughtful details and produce excellent construction documents
• Lead BIM production and coordinate consultants
• Solve complex building conditions and carry projects through construction
• Take meaningful ownership of project delivery
• Work closely with URBANO's partners and project teams from design through construction

Requirements

• 10–15+ years of professional architecture experience
• Licensed architect preferred
• Strong Revit proficiency and experience leading BIM production
• Excellent construction documentation and detailing skills
• Strong understanding of building assemblies, materials, codes, and constructability
• Significant experience with permitting, bidding, and construction administration
• Ability to independently identify technical issues and develop solutions
• QA/QC instincts and an exceptional attention to detail
• Comfortable mentoring and guiding younger architectural staff
• Organized, accountable, collaborative, and able to manage multiple priorities

Qualifications

• Experience with existing buildings, adaptive reuse, historic preservation, or complex renovations is a plus

Skills

• Technical proficiency in Revit and other BIM software
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
