Workers Compensation Paralegal

Job Title: Workers' Compensation Paralegal Location: Cleveland, OH (Hybrid) Job Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire Experience: 3+ Years Job Overview Seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Paralegal to support attorneys with claims management, legal documentation, case preparation, and administrative hearings. Candidates must have knowledge of Ohio workers' compensation procedures. Key Responsibilities Prepare claims for administrative hearings and draft pleadings, legal correspondence, and claim summaries. Request, organize, and review medical records; coordinate independent medical examinations. Manage case activities, electronic filings, and critical deadlines. Assist with depositions, mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and trials. Proofread legal documents and communicate with attorneys, clients, and medical providers. Required Qualifications 3+ years of paralegal experience in a law firm or legal setting. Knowledge of Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation (BWC) and Industrial Commission of Ohio procedures. Strong legal writing, proofreading, organizational, and analytical skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
