Workers Compensation Claims Supervisor - Glendale

About the role

We're seeking an experienced and motivated Workers' Compensation Claims Supervisor to lead a team of 7 in Glendale, CA. The role includes providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to ensure exceptional claim handling and adherence to company standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 7, including 5 Claims Adjusters and 2 Claims Assistants
• Provide ongoing coaching, counseling, and feedback to team members to enhance skills and performance
• Ensure all claims are handled in accordance with relevant statutes and company guidelines
• Address personnel issues promptly and decisively, keeping management informed of corrective action
• Foster a collaborative and productive team environment focused on excellence in claim resolution

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Claims Supervisor or similar role
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
• Experience with Workers' Compensation laws and regulations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Workers' Compensation Claims Management
• Knowledge of Workers' Compensation laws and regulations
• Experience managing a team of Claims Adjusters and Claims Assistants
