Workday Systems Lead Consultant

About the role

Xometry is seeking an experienced Workday Systems Lead Consultant to drive the end-to-end implementation of Workday across the organization. This is a hands‑on, delivery‑focused engagement for a proven Workday practitioner who has led at least one full implementation from design through go‑live. The consultant will serve as the primary systems lead, partnering with HR, IT, Finance, and external implementation partners to ensure a successful, on‑time phased launch between Q1‑Q3 2027. This is a 1‑year contract role whose core deliverable is a full Workday implementation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the internal systems lead for the full global Workday implementation, owning the project from a technical configuration standpoint.
• Partner with the SI and Project Team to gather requirements from Functional Teams and translate them into Workday configuration.
• Participate in design and lead configuration of Xometry's global Workday tenant across Core HCM, Absence, Advanced Compensation, Benefits, Learning powered by Sana, Peakon, Recruiting, US Payroll, Workday Help, and Workforce Planning.
• Configure and support the tenant across multiple regions — including the US, EMEA, China, and India — accounting for local statutory, regulatory, and business process requirements within a single global framework.
• Help establish sound data structures, business process design, security frameworks, and system governance for international regions and diverse worker types.
• Partner with SI on configuration, testing (unit, integration, UAT), and defect resolution cycles ahead of go‑live.
