About the role
As a Workday Talent Lead Consultant at Kainos, you will be part of a team implementing and configuring enterprise-scale Workday solutions for our global customer base. Typically, you will lead a project workstream, building relationships with customers, understanding their business and requirements, and providing excellent guidance.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships with customers and shape and deliver solutions aligned to customer needs.
- Support more junior members of the team and share knowledge with them.
- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues, including in a remote working situation.
- Present to senior client audiences and demonstrate complex functionality or solutions.
- Manage project timelines and make decisions under pressure, balancing customer demands with Kainos' commercial interests.
- Lead a functional workstream throughout the full project lifecycle, becoming an acknowledged subject matter expert.
- Mentor and line manage more junior consultants, and support the sales process including the production of estimates.
- Implement improvements in tools and processes to enhance the practice.
- Show commercial understanding of utilization within a services organization and its importance.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of Workday Talent and Learning.
- Strong understanding of Workday HCM Product and its interdependencies.
- Knowledge of various Business Processes such as Start Performance Review, Complete Manager Evaluation for Performance Review, Launch Calibration, Enroll in Content, Drop Enrollment, etc.
- Excellent customer focus, able to assess customer needs, build relationships, and manage customer expectations.
- Ability to communicate with customers and colleagues with impact, credibility, and empathy, including in a remote working situation.
- Sound ability to formally present to senior Client audiences.
- Commercial awareness and full understanding of project and business dynamics.
- Broad business and technology understanding and awareness of industry trends in HR management, Learning Management Systems, Financials, Enterprise Resource Planning, or Payroll.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and make sensible decisions under pressure.
- Willingness to act as a role model within the capability and mentor and/or line manage more junior consultants.
- Able to implement improvements in tools and processes to help the practice.
- Commercial understanding of utilization within a services organization and the importance of these targets.
Desirable
- Workday HCM and Talent Certification.
- Professional qualifications in your area of expertise.
- Experience in post-deployment services.
