About the role

AWS is seeking Logistics Specialists as part of its Work Based Learning Program (WBLP). Trainees will participate in a 12-month work and training program in Ohio facilities between June 2026 and December 2026. Trainees must have work authorization without employer intervention.

Responsibilities

  • Vendor and team communication including data entry, coordinating with suppliers, and resolving inquiries from cross-functional teams
  • Ensure accuracy and readiness of all billing associated with Inventory supply chain
  • Assemble, address, stamp, and arrange for shipment of merchandise and materials
  • Daily scheduling of deliveries and pick-ups to and from production locations
  • Keep precise records of all commodities entering and exiting the company
  • Traveling with a personal vehicle within the regional work area
  • Successfully completing the 12-month WBLP training curriculum, including safety certifications, technical competencies, and performance milestones

Requirements

  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds; participate in group lifts for 41+ pounds
  • Work in an environment that operates 24/7 with ability to participate in primary responder rotation and provide after-hours support
  • Bend, lift, stretch, reach, stand, and walk for up to 8+ hours a day
  • Ascend and descend ladders, stairs, and gangways safely and without limitation
  • Tolerate working in non-climate-controlled environments with temperature fluctuations

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Willingness to participate in shift rotations to support 24/7 data center operations

Skills

  • Microsoft Office products and applications
  • Knowledge of computer hardware components, operating systems, and inventory management
