About the role
As a Word Processor II, you will play a crucial role in providing technical writing skills to draft, revise, or write materials and related technical and administrative publications concerned with work methods and procedures, and installation, operation, and maintenance of IT systems and other equipment. Selected candidate will provide on-site support at our Fort Rucker, AL facility.
- Provide clerical support to the program with technical writing skills to draft, revise, or write materials which include standardization for reports, manuals, briefs, proposals, instruction books, and related technical and administrative publications.
- Collaborate with peers and our government customer to ensure mission success.
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite, Army365, SharePoint, Microsoft Visio, and Adobe Acrobat.
Requirements
- Active Secret security clearance required.
- High School Diploma/GED.
- 1+ years of related experience.
- US Citizenship required.
Skills
- Knowledge of digital preparation using Army365 typing, duplication, and distribution of material.
- Computer literacy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time efficiently.
- Excellent communications skills.
- Experience with Army365 products (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint) as well as Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Project.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations such as AR 25-50, AR 25-400-2, and industry standards.
Pay
The likely hourly rate for this position is between $15.33 - $20.73.
