Learning Standards Analyst I Secret Clearance required

About the role

As a Learning Standards Analyst, you will support U.S. Navy training by designing and developing instructional approaches and interactive courseware. Your work will involve facilitating Subject Matter Expert (SME) workshops, conducting training analyses, and ensuring the technical accuracy of instructional content.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop instructional approaches and interactive courseware to meet training requirements.
• Assist in facilitating Subject Matter Expert (SME) workshops to identify and validate job duties, tasks, and essential task attributes for developing learning objectives and curriculum.
• Develop Training Situation Analysis, Training Systems Analysis, and Front-End Analysis to maintain a life-cycle process comparing JDTA data to existing Course Training Task Lists (CTTL) and learning objectives, identifying training gaps or deficiencies.
• Provide feedback and track item completion, conduct training analysis, and review course safety plans.
• Interact with customers and SMEs to ensure the technical accuracy of instructional content.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, training, or work/military experience.
• Three (3) years of experience developing group-paced instructional materials for Surface Combat Systems in accordance with Navy curriculum development standards and guidelines.
• Experience advising Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) on development procedures, formatting, and evaluating curricula documents and instructional delivery procedures.
• Two (2) of the three (3) years’ experience in Navy curriculum development software such as Authoring Instructional Materials (AIM) I, AIM II, Content Planning Module (CPM)/Learning Object Module (LOM).
• Active SECRET security clearance (must currently possess).
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Pay

The likely salary range for this position is $63,750 - $86,250, based on experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements.
