Description And Responsibilities
The Assistant Program Coordinator at Open Sky's Respite Programs works alongside Residential Counselors to provide direct support to individuals and supervises overnight staff. Key responsibilities include:
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
- Direct care duties, hygiene (personal care), lifting, assisting with transfers, medication administration, documentation, assisting with group therapy, transportation, behavioral intervention, role modeling, and recreational activities.
- Implement activities that facilitate the development of valued roles and personal relationships in the community.
- Auxiliary with staff supervision and other assigned meetings.
- Participate in on-call rotation.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
- Reliability, willingness to learn, and being open to new opportunities.
