About the role

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Woodworkers for a millwork manufacturing company in Rice, MN. In this role, you’ll help produce high-quality wood doors, frames, and architectural millwork products while supporting a skilled production team. Reliable hours and weekly pay are provided.

Responsibilities

• Stack lumber from conveyor to carts by size, width and species.
• Stack mouldings and species according to specified quantity per bundle.
• Mark defects, remove them using a chop saw, and run lumber through a moulder.
• Complete production records indicating quantity, footage produced, profiles, species, etc.
• Pull scrap pieces from working areas as needed.
• Perform banding functions to secure piles for transporting.
• Inspect handling/banding equipment and change tooling when worn.

Requirements

• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure efficiently and accurately.
• Ability to read and follow outlined production schedules.
• Attention to detail.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to physically lift and/or move up to 75 lbs; able to stand, twist and bend for long periods of time.

Schedule

1st Shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm.

Pay

$18.00 per hour, paid weekly.
