Woodwind instructor needed in Hickory Creek, TX

About the role

Taylor Robinson Music is hiring private music instructors, especially for Woodwind. We do not have a brick-and-mortar studio location in the Hickory Creek, TX area, but we have students needing teachers ASAP!

Responsibilities

• Teach woodwind instruments to students in their homes, your home, or your studio/rehearsal space.
• Set your own schedule and lesson plans.
• Communicate regularly with the office.
• Be organized and punctual for all lessons.

Requirements

• Great with kids and love teaching.
• Must have either a degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or previous teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Flexible scheduling.
• Ability to teach via webcam (though this makes up only a small percentage of our student base).
• Experience with online teaching platforms if preferred.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to set and manage your own curriculum.
• Organized and punctual.

Benefits

• Independent contractor status with pay ranging from $20-$30 per hour based on travel time, experience, and student retention rate.
