Woodwind instructor needed in Sugar Land, TX

About the role

Taylor Robinson Music is hiring private music instructors, especially for Woodwind. We do not have a brick-and-mortar studio location in the Sugar Land, TX area, but we have students needing teachers ASAP!

Responsibilities

• Teach woodwind instruments to students in their homes, your home, or your studio/rehearsal space.
• Set your own schedule and lesson plans.
• Communicate regularly with the office about student progress and any issues.
• Be organized and punctual for all lessons.

Requirements

• Great with kids and love teaching.
• Must have either a degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or previous teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Flexible scheduling to accommodate students in the Sugar Land, TX area.
• Ability to teach via webcam if preferred, though this is not common.
• Paid on an independent contractor basis between $20-$30 per hour, depending on travel time, experience, and student retention rate.
• Wear a mask, sanitize hands, and practice social distancing when applicable due to COVID-19 precautions.
