Woodwind instructor needed in Fort Mill, SC

About the role

Taylor Robinson Music is hiring private music instructors, especially for Woodwind. We do not have a brick-and-mortar studio location in the Fort Mill, SC area, but we have students needing teachers ASAP!

Responsibilities

• Teach woodwind instruments to students in their homes, in your home, or via webcam.
• Set your own schedule and lesson plans.
• Communicate regularly with the office about student progress and any issues.
• Be organized and punctual for all lessons.

Requirements

• Great with kids and love teaching.
• Must have either a degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or previous teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Flexible scheduling to accommodate students in the Fort Mill, SC area.
• Ability to teach in-person or via webcam.
• Experience with remote teaching if preferred by students.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to set and manage your own curriculum.
• Organized and punctual.

Benefits

• Independent contractor status with pay ranging from $20-$30 per hour based on travel time, experience, and student retention rate.
• No advertising, marketing, or billing responsibilities.
• Light workload due to Taylor Robinson Music handling all aspects of bringing students in and managing billing.
