About the Role

Special Education Assistant position at Woodsboro Elementary within the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District. This is a part-time role with one opening available.

Schedule

• 9.5 months per year (school year calendar)
• 5 days per week (Monday–Friday)
• 3.75 hours per day (9:45 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.)
• 204 paid days / 1001 work calendar (available at www.pylusd.org)

Pay

Hourly pay range: $23.11 – $28.17 (Range 22).

Requirements

• Open to PYLUSD permanent employees, substitutes, and external applicants. Interviews will begin with permanent applicants qualified for an interview.
• Incomplete applications will not be considered.
• At least two references must be provided on your application.
• Must meet one of the following:
  • Completion of 48 units of college coursework,
  • AA degree or higher, or
  • Passage of Instructional Aide Testing (ESSA).
• Testing available through Human Resources (must be obtained before applying).
• Copy of transcript (degree or unofficial copy showing a minimum of 48 college units) or ESSA test results required.
• Current resume required.
• Selected candidates must complete a DOJ/FBI LiveScan.
