The Woodland Hills office of Fisher Phillips seeks a senior employment litigation associate with 7+ years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Drafting and responding to discovery and pleadings
- Drafting and arguing dispositive and non-dispositive motions
- Taking and defending depositions
- Appearing at hearings
- Leading or substantially participating in mediations
Requirements
- Significant experience independently managing employment litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Experience in labor and employment law, including litigating wage-and-hour claims, employment discrimination and harassment matters, class and collective actions, and PAGA cases
- Comfortable managing day-to-day case strategy, communicating directly with clients, supervising or mentoring junior attorneys, and working collaboratively with litigation teams
- Excellent academic credentials, strong writing and analytical skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Admitted to practice in California and hold a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school

Pay
The yearly salary range for this position is $270,000+. Actual base pay within this range will be determined by several components, including, but not limited to, relevant experience, internal equity, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
