Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage litigation matters from inception through trial and/or settlement
  • Draft and argue motions, briefs, pleadings, and other court filings
  • Take and defend depositions; prepare witnesses and experts for testimony
  • Congduct and oversee discovery, including e-discovery, document review, and production
  • Appear in court for hearings, conferences, and trial proceedings
  • Develop case strategies in collaboration with partners and clients
  • Manage client relationships and provide practical, solutions-oriented advice
  • Train and mentor junior associates and litigation support staff
  • Ensure compliance with deadlines, budgets, and case management requirements

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school; strong academic credentials preferred
  • Admitted to practice and in good standing in Pennsylvania; experience in federal court proceedings
  • 6–10+ years of litigation experience at a law firm or comparable setting
  • Demonstrated experience handling complex litigation independently
  • Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
  • Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines simultaneously
  • Proven leadership, client management, and mentoring abilities
