Women, Infants, and Children Outreach Coordinator (Program Coordinator I)-61007991

Job Responsibilities

Serves as the Outreach Program Coordinator for the WIC Program. Educates and informs the public and community partners about the WIC program to increase awareness and participation. Assists the WIC Services On Wheels Team in developing community partnerships. Coordinates and conducts WIC outreach events at various locations to promote WIC services. Facilitates access to WIC services by working as a liaison between WIC and the community. Prepares and presents oral and written reports on outreach activities and tracks program outcomes.

Requirements

• A high school diploma and relevant program experience.
• An associate's degree and five (5) years' experience in administrative, management or professional experience.
• A bachelor's degree and two (2) years administrative management or professional experience.
• Advanced computer skills and office equipment knowledge.
• Able to work with limited supervision.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish (preferred).
• One (1) year minimum WIC Admin experience.

Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with public speaking.
