Position Description
The Procurement Analyst supports mission-critical objectives under the referenced work order by tracking expenditures, managing procurement cycles, and ensuring contract compliance with DoD acquisition policies. This role administers chargeback arrangements, supports budgeting documentation, and ensures cost efficiency and compliance with security regulations across all program work orders.
Job Description
- Tracks expenditures and manages procurement cycles while ensuring compliance with DoD acquisition regulations, including DFARS and FAR.
- Performs market research to identify cost-effective procurement strategies and recommends optimizations for supply chain efficiency.
- Administers chargeback arrangements—subject to approval by the Government PM and COR—and documents all chargeback activities in the centralized license and services ledger.
- Sets up and submits the Procurement Compliance & Cost Efficiency Review, analyzes expenditure trends, contract execution, and budget adherence.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; or
- A minimum of four (4) years of professional experience in procurement analysis.
- Demonstrated experience in the following areas:
- DFARS and FAR processes for DoD acquisition regulations.
- Cost forecasting and procurement workflow optimization.
- Working with acquisition software and federal procurement databases.
- Financial tracking tools and cost estimation.
- Contract analysis and procurement audits.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Expertise in DFARS and FAR processes, cost forecasting, and procurement workflow optimization.
- Working knowledge of acquisition software, financial tracking tools, and cost estimation.
- Proficiency in contract analysis and procurement audits.
- Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to support budgeting documentation and usage monitoring for chargeback arrangements.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) (Preferred, Not Required)
- DoD Financial Management Certification (Preferred, Not Required)
Clearance Requirement
No clearance required for off-site duty location, or the ability to obtain and maintain the required clearance as specified by the program.
