Job Description
The Security & Compliance Administrator is responsible for implementing and maintaining security and compliance frameworks. The position requires conducting security audits, enforcing security policies, and managing security tools (SIEMs, vulnerability scanners, identity management solutions). Administrators will ensure compliance with DoD and IC security frameworks. The role includes maintaining continuous monitoring dashboards and conducting vulnerability scans.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Candidates must have demonstrated experience in the following areas:
- Conducting security audits.
- Enforcing security policies.
- Managing security tools such as SIEMs, vulnerability scanners, and identity management solutions.
- Ensuring compliance with DoD and IC security frameworks.
- Working with tools such as Splunk, Microsoft Defender, AWS Security Hub, Azure Security Center, and Tenable Nessus.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Expertise in security risk assessments, identity and access management (IAM), and continuous monitoring.
- Working knowledge of vulnerability management and incident response.
- Proficiency in zero-trust architecture, security automation, and compliance reporting.
- Strong understanding of Splunk, Microsoft Defender, AWS Security Hub, Azure Security Center, and Tenable Nessus.
- Ability to implement NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, and DoD IL-4/IL-5 security policies.
Education
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) (Preferred, Not Required)
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) (Preferred, Not Required)
- AWS Certified Security – Specialty (Preferred, Not Required)
Clearance Requirement
An active Secret security clearance is required for off-site duty location.
