WMS Supervisor-1
Purpose and Scope
Position not-to-exceed (NTE) October 30, 2026
Supervises the warehouse activities ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures regarding acceptance, storage, maintenance, inventory, and release of both general order merchandise and seized property.
Essential Responsibilities
- Supervises the warehouse staff including ensuring staff is adequately trained; coordinating workloads, priorities, and schedules to ensure timely and effective completion of work; and monitoring and evaluating staff performance.
- Oversees and recommends maintenance and repairs to facility. Supervises scheduling maintenance and repairing company vehicles and equipment in accordance with procedures and requirements.
- Supervises warehouse operations including acceptance, storage, maintenance, inventory, and release of all merchandise and property within the facility.
- Oversees the break down for public viewing and auction of merchandise and property for sale.
- Affords assistance in sales activity as required.
- Ensures proper storage of General Order merchandise and seized property stored at the Sales Center.
- Implements and monitors daily and month-end reporting of facility security, fire prevention, and space utilization.
- Participate in, and oversee, the implementation and execution of new operating system, WMS.
- Performs all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent training/experience; 5 years related experience, and a valid driver's license.
- Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.
Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands
- Typical office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 20 pounds, constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must posses planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines.
