WLL Marketing Coordinator
About the role
The Women’s Lacrosse League (WLL) is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to help lead the planning and execution of marketing efforts across the league. This role will play a critical part in bringing WLL campaigns to life across social, digital, media, events, and grassroots initiatives — helping grow the league, deepen fan engagement, and elevate the visibility of women’s lacrosse.
Position Overview
The ideal candidate is highly organized, creative, proactive, and deeply passionate about lacrosse — particularly the women’s game. This person will live and breathe WLL marketing, serving as a key connector across internal teams while helping lead campaigns from concept through execution.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years experience in a marketing or account management role (not including internships), preferably related to sports
- Passionate sports fan with a deep understanding and love for the game
- Proven track record of successfully leading all aspects of projects, from ideation to execution
- Creative, flexible and innovative team player with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of how to leverage multiple marketing channels to reach consumers (Digital, TV, OOH, etc.) and how they work together in marketing mix
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Requirements
- Coordinate campaign deliverables across paid, owned, and earned channels including social, email, partnerships, grassroots, and live events
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders, serving as the central point of contact for WLL across Growth Marketing, Creative, Content, Social, Lifecycle and Media Teams, to bring campaign strategy to life in a cohesive, integrated manner
- Support efforts to grow the WLL fanbase through grassroots, community, and digital marketing initiatives
- Partner with creative and content teams to set creative vision, ensuring all assets maintain a consistent WLL voice across touchpoints
- Monitor campaign performance and optimize in real-time based on data and insights - translating performance into actionable learnings for improve future campaigns
- Track campaign performance and assist in reporting across ticket sales, audience growth, engagement, and tune-in metrics
- Help amplify league storylines, athletes, and cultural moments throughout the season
Compensation
$57,784 to $77,000 per year
Based on the candidate’s experience, seniority, and location
The total compensation package includes Annual Bonus, Health, Life, Dental, and Vision Insurance, 401(k) plan, Equity Sharing, Mental Health Stipend, Unlimited PTO, and Paid Parental Leave
