Arch Telecom’s Retail Associate Managers (RAM) work as part of a Retail Team to bring the brand to life. They live and breathe the brand and Arch Telecom’s Core Values. They immerse themselves in meaningful connections with customers by building new and deepening existing relationships. They continuously work to build expertise in uncovering customers’ needs and have a passion to educate, demonstrate, and recommend device and service solutions.

This role is a learning role where you will be expected to work with your team to build required skills as well as assist the Retail Store Manager in all operational duties.

Responsibilities

  • Learn and build proficiency in customer service while providing a best-in-class customer experience and building loyalty by:
    • Helping customers pick up right where they left off in their shopping journey, whether online, through Customer Care, or in-store.
    • Exploring individual needs and providing hands-on demonstrations of the latest technology in-store.
    • Side-by-side selling to find personalized solutions beyond basic devices and service plans, including unique accessories and IoT devices.
    • Guiding customers through their purchasing experience with thoughtful questions, informative answers, and sharing expertise.
  • Assist the Retail Store Manager in daily operations and coaching.
  • Become proficient in the use of digital tools designed to enhance interactions and onboarding to demonstrate:
    • Coverage and network performance in the customer’s neighborhood.
    • The benefits of plans and services that allow customers to live unlimited and stay connected.
    • How we redefine wireless service, including device and account inspection, review, and troubleshooting.
  • Complete training on in-store experience, new skills, processes, and knowledge of systems and reference resources.
  • Build relationships and partner with employees across channels, including business and customer service, to:
    • Collectively own the customer experience and resolve issues, creating a seamless environment.
    • Identify and handoff small business leads.
    • Develop strong peer relationships where everyone is accountable for the company’s success.
  • Provide a first-class customer experience while maintaining a positive and engaging work environment.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school degree or GED.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Full-time availability (40 hours per week).

  • Willingness to lead your team, share best practices, serve customers, and resolve issues.
  • Effectiveness with operational, financial, and performance management.
  • Strong communication skills with both team members and customers.
  • Prior wireless sales experience.
