About the role

Arch Telecom’s Retail Associate Managers (RAM) work as part of a Retail Team to bring the brand to life. They live and breathe the brand and Arch Telecom’s Core Values. Our RAMs are brand ambassadors who create energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in a fast-paced, fun environment where customer needs are their first focus. They immerse themselves in meaningful connections with customers by building new and deepening existing relationships. They continuously work to build expertise in uncovering customers’ needs and have a passion to educate, demonstrate, and recommend device and service solutions. This role is a learning role where you will work with your team to build required skills and assist the Retail Store Manager in all operational duties.

Responsibilities

  • Learn and build proficiency in customer service while providing a best-in-class customer experience and building loyalty by:
    • Helping customers pick up right where they left off in their shopping journey, whether online, through Customer Care, or in-store.
    • Exploring individual needs and providing hands-on demonstrations of the latest technology in-store.
    • Side-by-side selling to find personalized solutions beyond basic devices and service plans, including unique accessories and IoT devices.
    • Guiding customers through their purchasing experience with thoughtful questions, informative answers, and sharing expertise.
  • Assist the Retail Store Manager in daily operations and coaching.
  • Become proficient in digital tools designed to enhance interactions and onboarding, demonstrating:
    • Coverage and network performance in the customer’s neighborhood.
    • How plans and services enable customers to live unlimited and stay connected.
    • How we redefine wireless service, including device and account inspection, review, and troubleshooting.
  • Complete training on in-store experience, new skills, processes, and system knowledge.
  • Build relationships and partner with employees across channels, including business and customer service, to:
    • Collectively own the customer experience and resolve issues seamlessly.
    • Identify and handoff small business leads.
    • Develop strong peer relationships where accountability drives company success.
  • Provide a first-class customer experience while maintaining a positive and engaging work environment.

Requirements

  • Competitive drive and confidence to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Willingness to lead your team, share best practices, serve customers, and resolve issues.
  • Effectiveness in operational, financial, and performance management.
  • Strong communication skills with both team members and customers.
  • Prior wireless sales experience.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • High school degree or GED.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Full-time availability (40 hours per week).
