Responsibilities
- Supports implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems.
- Manages IT system infrastructure and processes related to these systems.
- Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
- Identifies, diagnoses, and resolves Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problems.
- Communicates status to agency management and internal customers regarding escalated issues.
- Serves as a point of contact for the dispatch system and hardware problems, remaining involved in the resolution process.
- Configures and manages UNIX and Windows operating systems.
- Installs, loads, troubleshoots, maintains integrity, and configures network components, implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
- Supports Windows 10, including patching and troubleshooting.
- Understands Active Directory and Group Policy, including OU structures and policy creation.
- Knowledgeable in Windows Server Administration, covering installation, services settings, configuration, and patching.
- Experience with Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert (IAVA) Patching.
- Understanding of VMware.
- Understanding of Networking.
- Proficiency in PowerShell Scripting is a plus.
Qualifications
- Security Clearance and Polygraph Required.
