About the role
We are seeking a Windows Server Administrator to join our team in Quantico, VA.
Responsibilities
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows Server OS (2016, 2019, 2022), monitoring performance, and optimizing resources.
- Managing Microsoft Active Directory, including domain controllers, user/group management, DNS, DHCP, and GPO deployment.
- Administering virtualized environments with VMware vSphere/ESXi or Microsoft Hyper-V for scalable, resilient infrastructure.
- Planning and executing automated patching, updates, and OS deployments using MECM/SCCM and WSUS.
- Hardening servers per DISA STIGs and remediating vulnerabilities via ACAS/Nessus scans.
- Maintaining enterprise backup solutions, ensuring data integrity, and supporting Disaster Recovery and Continuity of Operations planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years in Security or 8 years of experience without a degree.
- Experience with accreditation processes, ICD 503 standards, and creating A&A BOEs.
- Proven security experience in enterprise environments, team collaboration, and complex network documentation.
- Must hold an active TS/SCI clearance.
Preferred Skills
- CISSP certification.
- Experience with cyber risk and compliance automation tools.
- Proactive, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to drive organizational change.
