About the role
UST is seeking a highly skilled Windows Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize enterprise Windows infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring system stability, security, performance, and availability while supporting business-critical applications and IT operations.
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022) across enterprise infrastructure.
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, DFS, and related Windows services.
- Perform server installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
- Maintain virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V.
- Support backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes.
- Implement and maintain system security, hardening, and compliance standards.
- AI-assisted automation using Ansible, Python & PowerShell scripting.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Windows Server administration, enterprise infrastructure management focused on building scalable, intelligent automation solutions.
- Expertise in Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and file services.
- Hands-on experience with VMware or Hyper-V virtualization platforms.
- Proficiency in AI-assisted automation using Ansible, Python & PowerShell scripting.
- Experience with patch management, monitoring tools, backup solutions, and system troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and hybrid infrastructure environments.
- Understanding of cybersecurity best practices, endpoint protection, and access management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in Windows system administration and infrastructure support.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, Azure Administrator, VMware Certified Professional (VCP), or equivalent are preferred.
