Administrative Assistant
About the role
This position will be part of an on-site support team for the day-to-day operations and management support. Tasks involved will entail the following:
- Performs various functions and special projects relating to the administration of executive support
- Based on good management practices and administrative processes, advises on the support in operations, personnel, and resource management
- Screens incoming communications including correspondence, calls, messages and visitors
- Counsels staff on administrative issues and provides guidance on policies and procedures
- Conducts independent research, studies, analyses, evaluations, and assessments for coordinating staff actions and making appropriate recommendations
- Maintains knowledge and awareness of the customer's views, goals, and procedures in carrying out assignments independently
- Undertakes critical and sensitive studies on any aspect of the office support functions or programs, providing critical background information, assessments, and recommendations for policy decisions
- Stays thoroughly informed on the missions, organizational structure, key personnel, status of current projects, along with any issue of responsibility for the customer

Clearance: SECRET
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum of 3 years of administrative experience in a professional setting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to pass a security clearance.
