About the role
The ideal candidate will have experience installing windows and performing carpentry tasks. This position involves both indoor and outdoor work.
Responsibilities
- Install windows according to manufacturer specifications and local building codes
- Perform basic carpentry tasks such as framing, cutting, and sanding
- Operate power tools and machinery safely and efficiently
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
- Work collaboratively with other tradespeople and follow project timelines
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- At least 2 years of related experience in window installation or carpentry
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely
- Good communication skills to interact with clients and colleagues
- Proficiency with basic hand tools and power tools
- Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
