Position Summary
Prysmian is seeking a Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) to support the operations at our Willimantic, CT plant. Reporting to the Regional Human Resource Manager, this role is crucial for executing people initiatives, driving HR excellence, and supporting the plant's leadership.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Facilitate the selection/hiring/orientation/onboarding process.
- Monitor employee engagement to ensure high levels of employee satisfaction.
- Develop and implement programs to enhance employee engagement and retention.
- Partner with leadership to foster a high-performance culture and promote continuous learning and improvement.
- Manage and oversee HR-related activities, including performance management, talent management, and compensation.
- Deliver facility communications strategies through various engagement activities.
- Lead change initiatives, manage organizational structures, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
- Oversee leave of absence processes, track training hours, and manage HR issues involving legal and financial risks.
- Support the development of the next generation of leaders and challenge existing associates.
- Define and build the organization’s capabilities by identifying talent needs and assisting managers in developing future leaders.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and regulations.
- Create and manage HR solutions that align with business objectives and minimize disruption to the manufacturing environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
- 3+ years of Human Resource business partner experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven success in talent management and building competencies/capabilities at all levels of the facility.
- Working knowledge of federal laws, including employment and labor laws.
