About the role
This is a highly responsible position and will report to the Director of Family Health Services Department.
Responsibilities
- Manage the WIC program within the Family Health Services Department
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations regarding WIC programs
- Provide nutrition education and counseling services to participants
- Develop and implement strategies to increase participation in the WIC program
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
- Prepare and submit required reports and documentation
Requirements
- A registered Nurses license/or is a licensed Dietician in the State of Ohio
- A valid Ohio driver’s license
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Nutrition, or related field
- Experience in managing public health programs
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
